OTHS STATE PLACE WINNERS
Keith Surber - (2007)
103 - 5th Place
The first medal winner in OTHS Wrestling history, and he did it as a freshman. He followed this up three more times en route to the best career in OTHS history.
Keith Surber - (2008)
112 - 3rd Place
The first medal winner in OTHS Wrestling history became the 2nd medal winner in 2008. This time at the 112 weight class getting closer to the ultimate goal of a state championship.
Keith Surber - (2009)
119 - 3rd Place

Surber followed his first 2 seasons with another top 3 finish at the state tourney. This time at the 119 weight class making it his 3rd different weight class in which he placed at state. Bigger things were yet to come in his senior year.
Terrell Pugh - (2009)
285 - 2nd Place

In Pugh's 2nd trip to the state tourney in three years, he brought home a 2nd place medal his senior season. This was the highest place of any OTHS wrestler in its history. Terrell played football at Arizona Western in college.
Keith Surber - (2010)
130 - 1st Place

One year after Terrell Pugh's 2nd place finish and his own 3rd place finish, Keith made history at OTHS by winning the State Championship at 130 lbs. It was his 4th appearance at state and his 4th year placing. After Keith's historic OTHS, St. Louis, Metro-East, and state of Illinois career, he wrestled for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
